SSPC Publishes New Compilation on Concrete
Surface Preparation and Coating
Pittsburgh--SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings
has announced the publication of Surface
Preparation and Coating of Concrete, a new
compilation of standards and other SSPC documents on the preparation
and coating of concrete surfaces. This new 376-page softcover
is meant to provide a convenient source of useful information
and guidance to
owners, specifiers, contractors, and others concerned with
the quality and performance of concrete coatings and surfacings.
 The
new Surface
Preparation and Coating of Concrete is a complete collection
of SSPC standards, guides, and specifications written specifically
for the preparation and coating of concrete, including the
SSPC/PSCI technology update on thick film coatings and surfacings
for concrete floors
(SSPC-TU
10) and the new tri-society document on the design, installation,
and maintenance of protective polymer flooring systems (SSPC-TR
5/ICRI 03741/NACE
02203). The book also contains relevant selections from SSPC's Good
Painting Practice, SSPC Painting Manual, Volume 1, and the
new 2nd edition of The
Inspection of Coatings and Linings, as well as papers from the recently
