P. D. Lovett Publishes New Report on Coatings for the Water and Wastewater Industries

P. D. Lovett & Company, a management consultancy firm headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, has published a new market report on protective coatings and linings for water and wastewater facilities.

The fourth in a series on protective coatings and linings industry sectors, Protective Coatings and Linings for Water and Wastewater Facilities outlines the coatings market for tens of thousands of government-owned water and wastewater facilities. A high value for coatings industry executives, the report consists of an industry overview, a potential customer listing of over 9,600 facilities and over 800 painting contractors, and profiles of water and wastewater formulators. Specific water and wastewater applications referenced include steel and concrete substrates, water storage tanks and towers, reservoirs, mixing and sedimentation tanks, building floors, walls and railings. Several technology types and their variation (e.g. epoxy, epoxy mastic; zinc-rich formulations; urethane, acrylic urethane; polyurea) are detailed with their application to the water and wastewater industry.

Established in 1986, P. D. Lovett & Company is a management consultancy focused on business planning, market analysis, new market evaluations, and acquisition assessment. The company's primary customer base is industrial manufacturing entities with sales from $5 million to $200 million. The company bases its conclusions on detailed analysis that includes computer-based manipulation of data, library, internet, and other reference materials, and telephonic research techniques. Projects typically include a series of presentations that progressively refine company, market, and competitive research.

Lovett's Protective Coatings and Linings for Water and Wastewater Facilities is the most recent of its Industry Sector Series on industrial maintenance coatings. Others include 2005's Protective Coatings and Linings for Petrochemical and Chemical Facilities, 2004's Protective Coatings and Linings for Food, Beverage and Pharmaceutical Plants, and their 2003 report on Railcar Coatings and Linings. Lovett also offers profiles of North American Powder Coatings Companies; Manufacturers of Protective Coatings for Concrete, Linings, and Secondary Containment; and Manufacturers of Protective Coatings for Steel.
