New Job Notification Submission Requirements for QP 1/2/6/8 contractors
Effective April 30, 2007, SSPC
certified contractors are able to submit mandatory required job
notifications, and non mandatory audit verification forms directly
to SSPC on line. Its simple; upon receiving an award for a project
eligible for reporting to SSPC, click on the link below, complete
the form and hit "submit." It
is as easy as that.
Here's the link: http://www.sspc.org/forms/jobnotification/index.nclk Again note that while submitting job notifications for eligible field jobs
Is required, submitting audit verification forms is non mandatory.
Audit Verification Form (Non Mandatory)
Once the awarded project becomes active, the next step is to submit
the
"Audit Verification Form." This step too is simple; once
the job that you
previously reported on the "Job Notification Form" becomes
active, click on the link on the left side of the SSPC Home Page
or click the link below http://www.sspc.org/forms/auditverif/index.nclk
also in the "Contractor Center" called "Audit Verification
Form," complete
the form and hit "submit." The audit verification form is for those jobs that start several weeks or
Months after the initial award. If you submit a job notification form for a
Job that will begin within a few weeks, there is no need to submit an audit
Verification form unless the project is delayed or job site contact
Information changes.
If your company reports many jobs (e.g. more than 20 reportable
jobs) to
SSPC during the course of the construction season and filling out
the forms individually on line creates an administrative burden
for you, contact Silvia Palmieri and she will work with you to
create customized pdf template forms that contain the same basic
company information you provide on each form which you can then
email to SSPC instead of submitting on line. This allows you to
send the same forms to SSPC via email so you do not have to complete
the standard company information on each form you submit which
you would have to do when using the on line process.
SSPC plans to further modify the on line reporting process during
the course of 2007 to allow company's who submit multiple job notification
and audit verification forms to use the on line process without
having to fill instandard company information for each submission. We certainly welcome
Your feedback on the user-friendliness of this new job reporting system.
If you have any questions about how to use this process or have
any difficulty gaining access to the forms, please contact Silvia
Palmieri at SSPC via
email or at 1-877-281-7772 Ext. 2209, or Norm Suzich via
email (suzich@sspc.org
) or at SSPC extension 2235.
Thank you for your patience with this new submittal process.
