Workers' Rights
- CPWR's main focus is to develop
practical ways to improve safety and health for construction
workers and their families. Hazard alerts on worker exposure
to lead, silica, noise and solvents are available in English
and Spanish.
As the
research, development, and training arm of the Building and
Construction Trades Department and the construction unions in
the AFL-CIO, CPWR works with more than 30 organizations nationwide.
Coating Alternatives Guide (CAGE)
A
pollution prevention tool for small- and medium-sized businesses
and state technical assistance program representatives. CAGE
is an expert system and information base designed to recommend
low-emitting alternative coating technologies to coatings users.
