ASRC Aerospace/NASA Kennedy Space Center
The Kennedy Space Center Corrosion Technology Testbed conducts testing and research to identify technologies that will prevent corrosion. Any project involving corrosion control may utilize this fully staffed engineering, research, and testing facility.

Bureau of Labor Statistics The principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the field of labor economics and statistics.

Department of Defense Corrosion Exchange (DoDCE)
The DoDCE provides collaboration and information sharing services and tools allowing members to collect, analyze, synthesize, and distribute scientific and technical corrosion-related information throughout the Corrosion Prevention and Control (CPC) community. Membership to the DoDCE is free of charge.

Department of Defense Single Stock Point (DODSSP)
Provides access to military standards, specifications and related information.

Electronic Library of Construction Occupational Safety and Health (eLCOSH)
An excellent source for construction safety & health information for contractors, owners, and workers. You can search by trade (painters), types of hazards, job sites, etc.

Search for EPA environmental information, regulations, programs, press releases (national and regional), and publications.

Government Printing Office (GPO)
Publishes government documents.

Library of Congress
Full text access to current bills under consideration by Congress in THOMAS, as well as research tools for searching library catalogs and other databases.

National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, Institute of Medicine, and the National Research Council
These organizations share a home page, making it easy to search for information about all of them at once.

National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)
Federal agency responsible for conducting research and making recommendations for the prevention of work-related disease and injury.

National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
Programs, products, news and other NIST information.

National Lead Information Center
Provides the general public and professionals with information about lead poisoning and its prevention. NLIC is funded by EPA, the CDC and HUD.

National Maritime Resource and Education Center (NMREC)
Established by MARAD to assist the U.S. shipbuilding, ship repair, owner/operators and marine suppliers in improving their international competitiveness.

Northeast Protective Coating Committee (NEPCOAT)
An affiliation of the northeast states, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont for the purpose of developing acceptance/testing criteria of protective coatings for use on highway bridge steel.

Northwest Pollution Prevention and Regulatory Perspectives
Funded by the EPA, this page covers the Pacific Northwest paints and coatings manufacturing industry, local regulatory issues and pollution prevention.

National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP)
NETPEP’s mission is to reduce duplication of effort by State DOT’s and participating industry for purposes of product prequalification. The program focuses physical testing resources, and expert knowledge to better understand and utilize proprietary, engineered products.

New York State Department of Health
The NYS Department of Health's Health and Safety in the Home, Workplace, and Outdoors site features a wealth of environmental, health, and safety information on air quality, drinking water, industrial chemicals, emergency preparedness, lead exposure, and much, much more.

OSHA
Provides OSHA regulations, compliance directives, interpretations, Federal Register notices, and news releases. It also includes information about OSHA programs and services.

Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (OSHRC)
An independent Federal agency created to decide contests of citations or penalties resulting from OSHA inspections of American work places.

Paint and Coatings Resource Center
Established by the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences (NCMS) with funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The main function is to provide regulatory compliance and pollution prevention information.

Small Business Environmental Home Page
Helps small business access environmental compliance and pollution prevention information. Sponsored by EPA.

South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD)
Enacts and enforces legal actions aimed at reducing air pollution in portions of LA, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, CA until the national ambient air quality standards of EPA are met.

State Environmental Resource Center
Information clearinghouse of environmental legislation and news state-by-state.

U.S. Business Advisor
This federal site is organized to provide businesses with access to government information, services and transactions. A very useful gathering of information for small businesses.

U.S. Coast Guard Office of Maritime Safety and Environmental Safety
Provides information regarding proposed and final Federal regulations regarding commercial vessel safety, marine safety and environmental protection.

U.S. - EU Cooperation on Workplace Safety
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work have established a joint website to provide wider access to job safety and health information available from each agency.
