SSPC Renewed as Authorized Provider for The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET)

Pittsburgh, September 12, 2011 - SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings is pleased to announce that The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has renewed its authorization of SSPC as an  Authorized Provider. IACET Authorized Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The recognition period extends for five years, and includes all programs offered or created during that time. This means that coatings professionals who complete SSPC Training & Certification courses, will continue to receive CEU’s.

In order to achieve its initial Authorized Provider status, SSPC had to complete a rigorous application process, including a review by an IACET site visitor, and successfully demonstrated adherence to the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation of its programs.
