SSPC Training Approved
for 2007 DoD Funding
SSPC is pleased to announce that, through an agreement with NACE International, its one-year contract to provide protective coatings training to Department of Defense personnel has been renewed.
Under the DoD Corrosion Prevention and Control Program, funding has been provided to both SSPC and NACE International to train DoD, NASA and U.S. Coast Guard personnel in the fundamentals of surface preparation and protective coatings.
The specific SSPC training courses covered by the contract are
• Fundamentals of Protective Coatings (C-1)
• Specifying and Project Management (C-2)
• NAVSEA Basic Paint Inspector Program (NBPI)
