SSPC Technical Committees
SSPC Technical
Committees serve two major functions. The first is the development of
consensus standards (such as specifications, guides, and procedures) and
technology updates
(reports on new technologies or processes). The second function, which
is less formal but equally valuable, is to provide a forum
for information exchange.
Follow
the links below to access additional information on SSPC unit and group
committees, the status of SSPC standards currently in development,
proposals for new standards
and committees, and more.
Also available are PDFs of the SSPC
standards development flow chart, "job descriptions" for
chairs and members, a committee application form,
the SSPC Standards Development Manual, and other
documents.
SSPC
members interested in participating in the work of SSPC Technical
Committees are invited to contact Aimée Beggs, SSPC Standards
Development Specialist and Technical Committee Liaison, at 1-412-281-2331
