The first four days of the program are
devoted to classroom lecture about planning,
substrate repair prior to surface preparation,
surface preparation itself, coating surveys,
specifications, and documentation requirements
with ample time allotted to hands-on
exercises and instrument practice. Lectures
are supplemented by quizzes, group exercises,
and case studies.
At the end of day four, the concrete coating

hours to complete the 100-question multiple choice
test. Students passing the concrete
course exam tech level at 70% or higher may
attend the intensive certification training on
day 5 and take the written and hands-on
certification exams on day 6. The certification
examination includes a 125-question written
exam and a hands-on test in the practical use
of instruments at 10 workstations. Time
allotted for the written exam is 2 hours, 15
minutes and for the practical exam 2-1/2
