DID YOU KNOW?
In 1950, the Steel Structures Painting Council was born out of the need for corrosion protection from representatives in the steel construction, and paint manufacturing industries. 70 years later, SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings is now the leading source of information on surface preparation, coating selection, coating application, environmental regulations, and health and safety issues that affect the protective coatings industry worldwide.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Coatings + is comprised of protective, marine, and industrial coatings programming with Technical Sessions and Workshops focusing on surface preparation, application, coating formulation, testing, inspection, and green coatings solutions. SSPC training and certification programs are offered in conjunction with the event, SSPC standards committees meet, and prime networking opportunities abound with a 100,000 square foot trade show featuring 150+ exhibitors.
Registration will open September 2020.

No. While we attempt to offer all of our training and certification courses during the same week as the conference, those are considered separate registrations. Please contact Joe Corll with any questions. The conference training schedule will be made available by September 2020. All confirmed training students do receive complimentary passes to the Exhibit Hall to use at any time the hall is open. If you are registered for a training course, you also have the option to register for a full conference pass with a $100 training discount.
There are a few different levels of registration:
- Full conference registration includes access to any and all of the technical sessions, the exhibit hall, the Awards Luncheon, and other social events throughout the week.
- Single day passes include all of the technical sessions, exhibits, and events being held on the particular day you register for.
- Exhibit Hall only passes only give you access to the exhibit hall.
Registration does not include travel or lodging expenses.
While there are plenty of dining options in the downtown area, close to the convention center and hotels, meals will be provided at select events throughout the week:
