The scholarship program is available to any student who is beginning or continuing their education at an institution of higher learning in the USA or Canada. To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must be a high school senior planning to enroll full-time or a student already enrolled full-time at an accredited institution of higher learning that has a three or four-year curriculum. They also must be a member of SSPC in good standing, or a child of an SSPC member in good standing. If you are not a member, you can join here (paid membership) or here (student membership).
To apply for the scholarship, candidates must submit a completed application form, two letters of recommendation, high school or college transcripts, a personal letter expressing why they deserve the scholarship and what they plan to do in their field of study, and finally a current senior picture or similar type of photo. Scholarship funds will be applied to the direct costs of the student’s courses. Once awarded, SSPC will work with the financial aid offices of each institution to ensure proper use of the funds.
A panel consisting of three members of the SSPC Board of Governors (designated by the entire Board) will choose the scholarship recipients.
