SSPC Steel City Chapter Sets Inaugural Meeting for October 3rd

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings is pleased to announce the inaugural meeting of its newest local chapter – the Steel City Chapter, on Thursday October 3, 2019 at Rockefeller’s Grille located at 1833 McKees Rocks Rd., McKees Rocks, PA 15136. The meeting will begin with a social from 5:30p-6:15p sponsored by the LMCI, followed by dinner. The Steering Committee for the newly formed Chapter will be introduced, and subcommittee chairs will briefly discuss their focus on behalf of the Chapter. The featured evening speakers include Bill Worms, SSPC Executive Director, and a member of the SSPC Board of Governors. The speakers will provide an update as well as entertain questions from the audience on the potential merger of SSPC and NACE International.
The Steel City Chapter hopes to draw members and guests from the tri-state area of PA, OH and WV, as well as western Maryland.
