USING SSPC PA 2 EFFECTIVELY eCOURSE (PA 2)
The importance of understanding SSPC-PA 2 is relevant to many parties frequently involved with coating or lining projects, including facility owners, coating manufacturers, engineering firms, management, supervisors, QA/QC and inspectors. SSPC-PA 2 is one of the most frequently specified standards for frequency and acceptability of dry film thickness measurements. The benefits of attending this eCourse, will strengthen your professional skills, knowledge, and help build your career.
Level: Intermediate Duration: 16 Week Seminar

In this eCourse, Bill Corbett, chair of the SSPC Education Committee and the SSPC Dry Film Thickness committee, which is responsible for the SSPC-PA 2 standard, demonstrates on video how to complete the measurements described in the SSPC-PA 2 standard. Through visual examples, many filmed at an actual job site, students will learn the frequency of spot measurements on pipe spools, test panels, coated steel beams and pipe sections. Students will also gain valuable practice in determining whether the film thickness in a given area conforms to the various coating thickness restriction levels available within SSPC-PA 2.

WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP AFTER I COMPLETE THE PA 2 eCOURSE?
The PA 2 eCourse is a good preparatory course for the PCI, BCI, and NBPI courses. SSPC recommends that students take the eCourse before they take these inspection level courses.
